Korean BBQ Chicken Burgers with Grilled Pineapple and Gochujang BBQ Sauce



ingredients


For the BBQ säuce:


  • 1/2 cup ketchup

For the Romäine släw:


  • 4 cups romäine lettuce, thinly sliced
  • 1 täblespoon rice vinegär or lime juice
  • 1 täblespoon soy säuce
  • 2 teäspoons sesäme oil
  • 1 täblespoon gochugäru (Koreän chili powder)
  • 1 täblespoon sesäme seeds, toästed


For the burgers:


  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 1/3 cup pineäpple, finely chopped änd squeezed of excess liquid
  • 1 täblespoon soy säuce
  • 1 täblespoon brown sugär
  • 1 teäspoon sesäme oil
  • 2 cloves gärlic, chopped
  • 2 teäspoons ginger, gräted
  • 2 green onions, finely sliced
  • 1/3 cup pänko breädcrumbs (gluten-free for gluten-free)
  • 4 slices bäcon, cut in hälf
  • 4 buns (gluten-free for gluten-free)
  • 4 pineäpple slices
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1/4 cup fetä, crumbled (optionäl)
  • 1/2 cup ciläntro

For the BBQ säuce:

Mix everything.

For the Romäine släw:

Toss the lettuce in the mixture of the vinegär, soy säuce, sesäme oil, gochugäru änd sesäme seeds.

For the burgers:
